After a very long time, it was good to watch a feel-good movie in Tamil Cinema. Good Night guaranteed that clever writing & brilliant execution will result in a perfect blend of a fun-filled emotional family drama and engage the audience with day-to-day realities. Vinayak Chandrasekaran's debut with Good Night is brilliant which will be evident through his writing & execution in the film, he proved that a simple knot of storyline is more than enough to provide an effective movie. The way they presented each character and their stories was quite beautiful, the initial portions of exploring Anu and Mohan's life & their family was delightful.
